We're expanding the world of the latest Episode expansion for DC Universe Online tomorrow with a massive update - so massive, in fact, that it has it's own name. Welcome to Brainiac Returns: Aftershock.

New Open World Boss - Brainiac Sub-Avatar

Brainiac's Sub-Avatar has been seen outside of the Hall of Justice. Send it back to him in small, broken pieces! Alongside this new boss encounter at the Hall of Justice, a new Weekly Mission has been added and several new feats you can earn related to this fight!

New Vendor Rewards

The following new items will be available at the Episode vendor:

• Automaton Mind Accessory

• Brainiac Drone base pet

• Influence of Corruption

Obtain the Automaton Mind Accessory and the Brainiac Drone base pet to unlock the new Where is my Mind? feat.

Need more Bizzaro Samples? Don't worry, because we're also running 2X Bizzaro Sample drops from July 16th - July 22nd.

New Boss Drops

Alongside the Influence of Corruption, there are 11 new Influence items that will drop from bosses across several Raids, Alerts, and Duos in the game:

• Influence of Control

• Influence of Replication

• Influence of Infection

• Influence of Collection

• Influence of Union

• Influence of Investigation

• Influence of Experimentation

• Influence of Subjugation

• Influence of the Colony

• Influence of Justice

• Influence of Cooperation

Track down the bosses, add their Influences to your new Factory Reset collection, and obtain all 12 to receive the Automaton Influence Aura and the new Troubleshooting 101 feat.

New Artifact

A brand new Artifact is also coming to the game as part of this update:

• Ancient Tantu Totem
