But what does this mean? This means DCUO has fully immersed itself into the ninth-generation world of consoles, thanks to Xbox Series X|S! No matter if you have the Series X or went more compact with the Series S, both are serious hardware and performance upgrades that will elevate your gameplay experience!

Q: When will DCUO be available on the Xbox Series X|S? 
A: DCUO has been playable on the Xbox Series X|S through backwards compatibility since the availability of Xbox One. However, you can now play the Series X|S native client version of DCUO on the Xbox Series X|S starting today.  

Q: How do I download the new native client of DCUO on the Xbox Series X|S? 
A: On your Xbox Series X|S, search the Xbox Store for “DC Universe Online for Xbox Series X|S”. Proceed by downloading the game via the “GET” button. 

Q: How will I know what version I have?
A: Keep a lookout on the title of the game and you’ll find exactly what version you have. The name of the product has been renamed to “DC Universe Online for Xbox One” and “DC Universe Online for Xbox Series X|S”. 

Q: What is different about DCUO on Xbox Series X|S?
A: The native version of DCUO on Xbox Series X|S is built specifically to be compatible with the Series X|S hardware. This means smoother gameplay with quicker loading times. If you are currently playing the emulated version of DCUO on the Series X|S, we highly recommend switching over to the Series X|S client to ensure that the game takes advantage of the hardware’s capabilities.  

Q: Will I still be able to play with my friends? 
A: Yes. Your account will remain the same and will remain on the same server(s).

Q: Do my characters, account, and purchases carry over to Xbox Series X|S from Xbox One?
A: Yes. Your characters, account, and purchases are attached to your Xbox account. Simply log in with the same Xbox account and all of your characters and purchases will be available.  

Q: Can I still play on Xbox One?
A: Yes. You can choose to log in on either your Xbox One or your Xbox Series X|S at any time (though not simultaneously), or move back and forth, however is most convenient for you. We expect to support DCUO on Xbox One for as long as Xbox supports the Xbox One.  If you are on Xbox One and would like to download DCUO, you can search the Xbox Store for “DC Universe Online for Xbox One”. Proceed by downloading the game via the “GET” button.
