Legendary Membership Benefits FAQ
The DC Universe Online Legendary Membership is getting even more rewarding! Read on to learn more.
What changes are coming to the Legendary Membership?
Legendary Membership will now have increased benefits, including a monthly grant of 500 Station Cash (PC) or 500 Loyalty Points (PS3) (for recurring members only), 150 Replay Badges per month (a $5 USD value), and unlimited unlocks for the all new Promethium Lockboxes.
Will anything be removed from the current Legendary Membership?
No. Legendary Members will still have all the great benefits they currently have, including access to all Downloadable Content (DLC) Packs. For complete details, check the matrix here.
Will the price of a Legendary Membership change?
No.
When will these changes begin?
The new Legendary Membership benefits will begin April 3rd, 2012.
Monthly Station Cash and Loyalty Points
When will current Legendary Members begin receiving the monthly 500 Station Cash (PC) or 500 Loyalty Points (PS3)?
All PC players who are subscribed to a recurring Legendary Membership on April 2nd, 2012, will receive 500 Station Cash when the program begins on April 3rd, 2012, and then again every month as long as they maintain their recurring membership.
All PS3 players who are subscribed to a recurring Legendary Membership on April 2nd, 2012, will receive 500 Loyalty Points the next time they log in beginning April 3rd, 2012, and then again every month as long as they maintain their recurring membership and log in. PS3 players must log in to receive their Loyalty Points.
When will new Legendary Members receive their 500 Station Cash (PC) or 500 Loyalty Points (PS3), if they sign up after April 2nd?
Players signing up for a recurring Legendary Membership after April 2nd will receive their monthly Station Cash or Loyalty Points immediately and then again every month as long as they maintain a recurring membership. PS3 players must log in to receive their Loyalty Points.
Will PS3 players need to do anything to receive their Loyalty Points?
Yes. Because of technical constraints, PS3 players must log in to the game to receive their Loyalty Points. Once eligible, PS3 players will receive their Loyalty Points immediately upon log in. PS3 players will be eligible again one month from the last time they were granted Loyalty Points.
What will happen to players' accounts and Station Cash or Loyalty Points if their Legendary Memberships lapse?
If players' recurring Legendary Memberships lapse, they will move to Premium Access and lose all the benefits that come with being Legendary, but they would keep any granted Station Cash or Loyalty Points they have accumulated, and of course anything they have purchased.
What if players renew their lapsed Legendary Memberships?
If players renew their lapsed Legendary Memberships with a recurring subscription, they would immediately receive their monthly Station Cash or Loyalty Points, and then would continue to receive them every month as long as they maintain a recurring membership.
What is the difference between a recurring and a non-recurring Legendary Membership?
A recurring Legendary Membership will automatically renew at the end of its cycle instead of expiring, while a non-recurring Legendary Membership will not. A recurring Legendary Membership also comes with the additional benefit of 500 Station Cash (PC) or 500 Loyalty Points (PS3). Both options come with 150 Replay Badges and unlimited unlocks for Promethium Lockboxes.
Do non-recurring Legendary Memberships come with the monthly 500 Station Cash (PC) or 500 Loyalty Points (PS3)?
No. Players must participate in a recurring Legendary Membership to receive the Station Cash or Loyalty Points.
Will PC players who previously purchased a Lifetime Membership receive the monthly Station Cash?
Yes.
Promethium Lockboxes
What are Promethium Lockboxes?
Promethium Lockboxes can drop off of enemies anywhere in the world for all players level 10 and higher. Inside, players can find many kinds of exciting, powerful items. Additionally, every Promethium Lockbox will contain a random Mark. We'll have more details on what can drop at a later time.
Who can open Promethium Lockboxes?
Legendary Members can immediately open any Promethium Lockbox they find. Premium and Free players can find Promethium Lockboxes, but must purchase a Promethium Key from the Marketplace to open them.
How many Promethium Lockboxes can players open?
Legendary Members can open any number of Promethium Lockboxes. Premium and Free players must purchase a Promethium Key for each box they wish to open. There is no limit to how many can be opened.
How much will a Promethium Key cost?
A Promethium Key will cost $2.49/250 Station Cash. A bundle of 5 will cost $9.99/1000 Station Cash.
How long can I keep unopened Promethium Lockboxes in my inventory?
Due to the unstable nature of Promethium, you have 30 days to open a Lockbox before it degrades and is automatically removed from your inventory. You can check how much time your lockbox has left by checking the tooltip on the Lockbox in your inventory.
When will Promethium Keys be available in the Marketplace?
Promethium Keys will be available for all players in the Marketplace with our next Marketplace update, which is currently targeted for April 10th.

How can players get Replay Badges?
Legendary Members are granted 150 Replay Badges per month, a $5 USD value. All players can purchase more Replay Badges in the Marketplace.

How many Replay Badges does it take to reset an instance?
The amount of badges needed varies depending on the type of instance. For example, Raids cost more to unlock than Alerts, and Alerts cost more to unlock than Duos.
Duo – 12 Replay Badges to reset
Alert – 29 Replay Badges to reset
Raid – 87 Replay Badges to reset
When will Replay Badges be available in the Marketplace?

PS3 Loyalty Points and Skeets' Legendary Emporium
What are Loyalty Points and Skeets' Legendary Emporium?
Loyalty Points are a currency unique to the PS3. Because Station Cash is not used in the PS3 Marketplace as it is on PC, this alternative currency and vendor allows PS3 Legendary Members with recurring plans to also receive a similar stipend each month.
How can PS3 players earn Loyalty Points?
500 Loyalty Points are given monthly to Legendary Members with recurring subscriptions.
Where and how can PS3 players spend Loyalty Points?
PS3 players can spend Loyalty Points at Skeets' Legendary Emporium located in-game in safe houses and police stations.
What is available for purchase with Loyalty Points?
Most consumable items available in the Marketplace are also available for Loyalty Points at Skeets' Legendary Emporium, including Respec Tokens. DLC Packs will be added in the future.
Why isn't the entire Marketplace available at Skeets' Legendary Emporium?
It is our intention in the future to add more Marketplace items to Skeets' Legendary Emporium, including DLC Packs, but first we must resolve some technical complications. For now, many of our best-selling items are available.
Will Legendary Memberships be available on Skeets' Legendary Emporium?
Not at this time.
