Claiming the Play As Batman preorder promotional item is easy, just follow the steps below and get ready to take part in our exciting, Legends PvP Arena combat!
On the PC:
- To claim the item you must navigate to the Marketplace Claim window by choosing the shopping cart icon at the bottom of the game window (far right on your PDA).
- The shopping cart icon opens the Marketplace, which is where you claim items through the Claim Window.
- Enter the pre-order code you received on the left side of the Claim window into the “Enter A Code” box.
- Once you have entered the code, you should see the item listing as “Exobyte Data: Batman” appear on the right side of the window under the “Claim Items” list; you must click on it to Claim it.
- Claiming the item drops it into your inventory, so be sure that you have room in your inventory before you claim it.
- Next, you need to go into your Inventory and right click the Exobyte Data item (it appears with a purple border) to equip it, click “ACCEPT” and then you can use it.
- To use the Play As Batman exobyte data, you will need to click on the FIST icon in your PDA which opens the “On Duty” menu.
- Once you enter the “On Duty” interface, if your character is level 5 or above, you will see Arenas listed that you can enter; they are the Legends PvP arenas that are available to you at that time.
- To claim this item please be aware, if you are on a PC, you need to enter the pre-order key into the “ENTER A CODE” UI on the Claim window as directed above.

On the PS3:
After - The Marketplace is where you claim in-game items after redeeming promotional codes through the XMB on your PSN Account.
- To redeem a promotional code, enter it through your PlayStation Network Account by choosing the Account Management heading on the XMB (outside of the DC Universe Online game) and then entering the code in the Redeem Codes section.
- After the code has been redeemed, return to the Marketplace in DC Universe Online to claim your item(s).
- Access the Marketplace by choosing the Shopping Cart icon on your PDA; it is on the far right.
- Your promotional items will then appear under the “Claim Items” column on the right side of the screen in the Claim Window.
- Highlight the item that you would like by using the directional buttons and then press the X key to choose it. Please note that you must have room in your inventory to claim an item.
- Once claimed, exit the Marketplace by pressing Circle, and enter your Inventory to access the item. Hit X again to equip it before using.
- To play in the Legends PvP arena, you must click on the Fist icon on your PDA to access the “On Duty” menu.
- If your character is level 5 or above, you will see Arenas listed that you can enter; these are the Legends PvP arenas that are available to you at that time.
